Nivedita grew up in Russia and graduated with a master's in fine arts. She has extensive training and experience in classical painting techniques and teaching them in academic settings. After many years of working with traditional oil on canvas, she felt inspired to switch to watercolor as her medium of choice. She lives with her husband and two cats in Mountain view, California.
